Meet the Clergy & Staff
The Reverend Kathy Guin
The Rev. Kathy Guin first came to serve at St Margaret’s on Palm Sunday of March 2013, she feels endlessly blessed to serving with this joyous faith community. She has a heart for Outreach like our namesake, which first drew her to St Margaret’s, where our commitment to serve is lived out in many ways. She is originally from Dallas Texas and met her husband David in San Francisco. They lived in the Bay Area for many years, where their two children Kelly and Bryan were born. Kelly just graduated from college and is now working in San Francisco and Bryan just started in college. Both David and Kathy enjoy hiking and kayaking, they love living in this area with all the many things to do.
Rev Kathy has her Masters in Divinity from the Virginia Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Texas Tech University. She is a C.P.A. with a managementbackground at Kaiser Permanante, where she served on a San Francisco Bay Area medical center administrative team for many years. Her management background and vision planning experience has been beneficial for helping to guide the journey of rebuilding this parish, who continually seek to “walk by faith.” Rev Kathy is passionate about making the worship and faith formation accessible and meaningful for all ages. She feels a deep sense of call to serving at St. Margaret's and is thankful for all the many ways God is at work in this loving, compassionate faith community, Thanks be to God!
