Here’s the response to the question posed at worship on September 25 – What is one word you’d use to describe how we “walk in love as Christ as loved us?”
No surprise, we received a powerful response to this question of to “Walk in Love.” When you look at this “love cloud” what words do you connect to? What words speak to your heart as you see Christ’s love in action at St Margaret’s? I see many words that describe how we live out this love each and every day as we seek to “walk the walk.”
The ways we live out this love as a faith community by Giving - Sharing – Engaging – Accepting – Welcoming – Listening - Embracing.
The ways we live in this love by being Steadfast, Joyful, Peaceful, Compassionate, Open, Content, Connected,
The ways God empowering us to Trust, Forgive, to have Courage, Hope, and Peace.
We see that together we walk through good times and hard times with grace and love celebrating the love we share each and every step of the way. At the same time, we give thanks as we recognize that we’re blessed to be a community that is growing and flourishing in Christ’s love that is clearly visible at work. All these actions connects us and brings us together as Christ’s body, empowering us to go and do God’s work.
