The Hilda Barg Homeless Prevention Shelter is located at 14945 Richmond Hwy Woodbridge, VA 22191 phone; 703-792-8810. It is staffed by Prince William County employees and the meals are coordinated by the Cooperative Council of Ministries (CCoM) 365 days a year. The Center can accommodate 34 people and cares for families with or without children of all ages.

We provide meals at the Center 10 days a year and generally plan to provide enough food for 30 people each time.

There are currently 28 residents, including 10 small children so please consider kid-friendly foods  

Donated items include food for breakfast, like milk, juice, fruit and cereal, food for lunch, like bread, lunch meat, cheese and pre-packaged snacks and drinks and food for dinner like main dishes, salads, vegetables and desserts. Purchased meals like fried chicken and pizza can also be provided. If you are unable to provide food you may write a check. Please put HBHPC on the memo line of checks.

Non perishible items may be dropped off at the Center 24 hours a day. The staff will meet you at the front door to take them from you. 

Main dishes need to be fully cooked and all food delivered between 6:15-6:30pm on the day the food will be served at 7pm. Staff will meet you at the front door to take all items from you.

Please avoid any items containing PORK.
